Middletown Lions Club

Second Annual SuperBowl Pancake Breakfast

Benefits NJBCA/Camp Happiness

On Feb 3rd, The Middletown Lions held their second annual pancake breakfast to benefit our blind clients, and to help perpetuate many of our programs.

Captain John Giordano did a phenomenal job organizing this event that drew close to 200 hungry adults and children to the VFW in Port Monmouth. John was also visible in the kitchen, and cooking/serving and all aspects of the event evolved without a hitch.

The following Lions helped make this a great day, and a successful fundraiser:

John Giordano

Al Siano

Craig Finnegan

Ron Finnegan

Tom Mahon

Jim Guerrieri

Bill Golda

Bob DiFina

Mitch Gotesky

Brian Compton

Paul Guido

Bill Bechtoldt

The creative and efficient chefs included Chris Russo and John. Thomas and Kathy Wiley provided help anywhere necessary.

A huge thank you to WHOLE FOODS for setting up a fresh fruit and juice stand which was hugely popular, and one more reason this was not a “run of the mill” pancake breakfast. Please put Super Bowl morning on your calendar for next year!

Thank you Lions/volunteers/and attendees! You help to enrich the lives of the blind.
