Fine Arts Program                                                                                          

 

Photo of someone examining some art workOne of our most popular programs, our Fine Arts Program allows participants to experience the concepts of drawing, painting, and sculpture through both instruction and studio activities.  Our instructor, Sue Ferraro, brings impressive credentials and unique skill set to NJBCA as she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute and a Masters degree in Mobility and Orientation from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

 

camper working on art projectOur artists have presented their work at the Middletown Arts Center and Monmouth Museum, and have even entered artwork in national contests for blind/visually impaired artists, such as the American Printing House for the Blind’s InSights annual art competition.  Offering educational, creative, and socialization components, this program is in extremely high demand. 

 

We have even periodically offered the Fine Arts Program to blind/visually impaired children when possible.  Our Children’s Art/Recreation Program, was originally made possible by:
