CHILDRENS ART/RECREATON PROGRAM FOR BLIND/VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN
On March 3, 2007 the NJ Blind Citizens Association/Camp Happiness started an art program for blind/visually impaired children. This groundbreaking program incorporates recreation and socialization components that are very important to the children.
Our instructor has a bachelor's degree in art, and a masters in mobility and orientation. She also has a blind child.
Many NJ Elks Lodges have come forward to provide funding and make this program possible. Our sincere thanks to:
Greater Wildwood Elks Lodge #1896
Colonia Elks Lodge #2282
Pictures of the children and program activities will appear here as soon as releases are signed by the parents.
Please call Executive Director Doug Scott if you would
